The Artists
Oomph! and Rammstein are two of my favorite bands ever. They happen to be German. I am enamored by the fact that German music can get away with things that American music cannot. Don't believe me? Watch the video for "Mein Teil" and then point me to an American band that could get away with both cannibalism and cross-dressing and just that little touch of homo-eroticism.

I don't honestly know anything about The Dresden Dolls, but "Coin Operated Boy" is ear crack in the purest sense.

Disturbed is just awesome, awesome music. And David Draiman makes me kinda melty.

Jezebel Red is the band that you'll probably never hear of. The lead singer was a Big Name Fan in the old Buffy fandom that went by Nauti Bitz. Amazing writer, beautiful woman, and an all around amazing person. When last I heard, she and her girlfriend had moved to LA and she's writing scripts for porn. Everyone should expect better porn from now on.
